I go to post office

The thought of visiting a post office is so boring. I tried convincing mom to go as she has the patience to handle people who work there. Not me. But like always, I had to go. The first sight was a long bored queue of middle aged people (agents) and some oldies. I had to VPP (value payable post) couple of books to Chennai. I went to a counter asking for details. The woman at the counter didn't even look at me and replied 'I don't know any details of VPP'! I was surprised and so I asked 'where can I ask for the details'. She didn't reply for a minute and then said, "Check the website na'! I told myself 'Be calm baby, try to get some details from other counter'

I walk up to the other counter where the guy says, 'Arrey, go and ask that woman about VPP, this counter is not for that'. Alright. So I go to the SAME counter where the woman was seated. "Ma'm that guy over there says you have all the info. Could you please help me with that?".

Now she's angry...she removed an old bundle of papers and almost throws it at the counter saying, "fill up these forms and come later. We'll see what to do". I was shocked! What does she mean by "We'll see what to do?!!". I am still calm and ask her about charges and there...she gives me that look. I get so scared that she'll start abusing me for ruining her morning by making her work, that I walk out.

As I am thinking what to do next...one guy comes up to me and says, "Ma'm you want to send books to Chennai right? I can help you with that. I have courier service and I charge 50% lesser than postal service plus I'll collect the books from your home". Ray of hope. I take his number and realize how important it is for entrepreneurs to be present at the right time at the right place!
